Women's Journey from Marrakech to Essaouira - 7 Days
About this experience
A group journey for women along Morocco's Atlantic coast, mixing culture, nature and gentle challenges. It starts in lively Marrakech, then heads to the Essaouira coast for a 10 km walk over clifftops and sand to Sidi Kaouki and a night in Berber tents on a cliff above the ocean, with a campfire under the stars. You explore Essaouira's port, ramparts and lanes with an official guide, ride quads across the beach, dunes and mimosa forest at sunset, enjoy a day of rest at a hotel with a pool, walk the clifftops from Iftane to the Sidi Mbarek waterfalls, and say goodbye to Essaouira on horseback along the beach before returning to Marrakech. No experience is needed for the quad or the horse ride. Two group video calls, one before and one after the trip, and a travel journal complete the experience.

Meeting Point
Itinerary
Settle into your riad and discover the city. The group meets at sunset for tea on a terrace above Jemaa el Fna, then dinner together.
Drive towards Essaouira for lunch on the cliffs of Ouessen, then a 10 km guided walk over rocky and sandy ground to Sidi Kaouki and on along a long beach to the bivouac: Berber tents, a camp shower and a campfire under the stars.
Visit the port, the ramparts and the lanes of Essaouira with an official guide, lunch in town and free time, then quads at sunset across the beach, the dunes and a mimosa forest. Night in a riad.
A free day at a hotel with a pool, ten minutes on foot from the sea, with Essaouira a 15-minute taxi ride away.
A walk from a fishing village along the clifftops and golden dunes, with a picnic halfway, then an afternoon by the pool and dinner at sunset.
A 2-hour ride on Arab-Berber horses along the beach, patient even with first-timers, then back to Marrakech and a free evening in the souks.
Breakfast and departures at your own pace.
Important Information
Women only. Single date: 14 to 20 Nov 2026. Your group leaders speak Italian; English is spoken in tourist areas. The walks are easy, and anyone who wants to stop during a walk can continue by car for 30 to 40 EUR. No licence or experience is needed for the quad or the horse ride. Expect 15 to 20°C by day and around 5°C at night: dress in layers. Single rooms and tents are available on request with a supplement of 15 to 40 EUR per night. The bivouac night needs a booking and passport details at least two weeks ahead, as required by the Essaouira authorities. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival in Morocco.
Cancellation Policy
Need to cancel or change your booking? Tell us as early as possible: depending on the notice given, the ranch offers a new date or, where possible, a partial or full refund. No-shows without notice are not refunded. If the ranch has to cancel, for example because the weather is unsafe, you choose between a full refund and a new date at no extra cost.
