Souss-Massa National Park 4x4 Day Trip - Dunes, Dam & Berber Lunch

Spend a day off the tarmac south of Agadir, in and around Souss-Massa National Park. In a sturdy air-conditioned 4x4 such as a Toyota Land Cruiser, you follow desert tracks over rolling dunes and along wild beaches and ocean cliffs, with a local guide sharing the stories of the area and pointing out its wildlife: migratory birds and, with luck, gazelles and other species protected in the park. A panoramic stop at the Youssef Ibn Tachfine dam looks over the reservoir and the Anti-Atlas, and the route passes through traditional villages. Lunch is a home-cooked tagine or couscous with tea, shared with a Berber family. A full day out in small groups of up to 6, with hotel pick-up in Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght.
