An authentic six-day journey from the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech to the wild beaches and argan forests of Essaouira. After a private transfer to the coast and a free afternoon in the UNESCO-listed medina, three days in the saddle cross sand dunes, argan forests and Berber villages, with two nights under the stars in tented camps.

Itinerary
Private minibus from Marrakech airport to Essaouira, free afternoon in the medina, optional welcome dinner at the ranch (about 18 EUR, paid there). Hotel with breakfast.
Three days on horseback through dunes, argan forests and Berber villages, with two nights in tented camps.
Return towards Marrakech and departure.
Important Information
Fixed departure dates: 30 Nov to 5 Dec 2026; 4 to 9 Jan 2027. Riders must be comfortable at walk, trot and canter, keep a good posture at the trot and weigh no more than 90 kg. Everyone helps care for their own horse during the trek. The camp night needs a booking and passport details at least two weeks ahead, as required by the Essaouira authorities. Arrive in Marrakech by 17:00 on day 1 for the welcome dinner and briefing. The taxi back to Marrakech airport on the last day is not included (about 10 to 15 EUR). Cancellation and accident insurance for horse riding is included: send your full name, home address and phone number when you book so the policy can be issued. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival in Morocco. At the bivouac you sleep in shared 6-person tents, or a 2-person igloo tent if you prefer.

Cancellation and accident insurance for horse riding is included in the price, so a cancellation for a covered reason is reimbursed through the insurance.
