Legzira Beach & Tiznit Day Trip from Agadir

The Legzira and Tiznit day trip combines two of the most distinctive south Morocco destinations. Legzira Beach is famed for its red cliffs and the great natural sandstone arch that rises from the Atlantic, the survivor of a pair until its twin collapsed in 2016. Tiznit is a walled Berber city famous for its silver jewellery market and ancient medina. The two sit just 30 minutes apart on the coast road south of Agadir. Want to see more of the south coast? Choose the longer route: on the same day we also stop in Mirleft, a quiet town above beaches and coves, and continue past Legzira to Sidi Ifni, a former Spanish town with white and blue art deco buildings. It makes a longer day, back in Agadir around 18:30.

Meeting Point
Itinerary
Depart Agadir heading south along the Atlantic coast road.
Arrive at Tiznit. Walk the medina and explore the famous silver souk.
Lunch at a local Tiznit restaurant.
Arrive at Legzira Beach. Walk to the natural arch for photos.
Free time to explore the beach and the arch at your leisure.
On the longer route we also stop in Mirleft, above its cliffs and beaches, and continue to Sidi Ifni, a former Spanish town with art deco buildings, before driving back to Agadir (about 18:30).
Depart Legzira and drive back to Agadir.

Important Information
The Legzira arch is best photographed at low to mid tide. Check tide times before booking. Modest dress for the Tiznit medina. The longer route with Mirleft and Sidi Ifni runs when enough people have booked, so we confirm it after you book. The private option, at the price of 6 people, runs just for your group.
