Essaouira Weekend - 3 Days with Horse, Quad & Camel
About this experience
A three-day escape to Essaouira's dunes and medina, designed for families as much as for adults. Stay two nights in a traditional riad and start with a two-hour sunset horse ride along the beach. Day two is for the medina, the fishing port and the Skala ramparts, then a sunset quad tour through the eucalyptus forest to the big dunes of Cap Sim, followed by an Italian dinner in the old town. On the last morning, a two-hour camel ride along the Ksob river with a guide who points out migratory birds and medicinal plants, explains the area's history and shows how the camels are trained to respond to voice and gestures.

Check in at your riad. Two and a half hours before sunset, meet at the ranch for a two-hour horse ride on the beach, with a half-hour arena session first for beginners.
Explore the medina, the fish market at the port and the Skala ramparts with their old cannons, with a grilled fish lunch on the main square (not included). Two and a half hours before sunset, a two-hour quad ride through the eucalyptus forest to the Cap Sim dunes. Dinner at an Italian restaurant in the medina.
After breakfast, a two-hour camel ride along the Ksob river: migratory birds, medicinal plants and the area's historic sites. Departure after lunch (not included).
Important Information
Prices are adapted for children aged 0 to 4 and 5 to 8 (see the booking form). The horse ride suits all ages, with extra staff alongside children, the quad ride is adapted to each participant's age, and the camel ride and its explanations suit children too. Essaouira is easy with small children: pushchairs get around everywhere. Activities meet at the ranch, 5 minutes from the riad.
Cancellation Policy
Need to cancel or change your booking? Tell us as early as possible: depending on the notice given, the ranch offers a new date or, where possible, a partial or full refund. No-shows without notice are not refunded. If the ranch has to cancel, for example because the weather is unsafe, you choose between a full refund and a new date at no extra cost.
