Departing from the fishing port in the morning, the boat heads out into the Atlantic where the bay opens up and the full sweep of the coastline becomes visible. Dolphins are frequently spotted in these waters — common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins both inhabit the bay and are attracted to the bow wave. The crew knows the best areas and will adjust the route to maximise your chances of a sighting. Fishing lines go out during the trip and any catch is cooked up on a small grill on deck — fresh Atlantic fish with a sea view is hard to beat. The trip runs from 09:30 to approximately 15:00, with time at sea, a stop for swimming in a calm cove if conditions allow, and a relaxed return to the fishing port.
